PUTRAJAYA, July 26 — The No Further Action (NFA) against former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad over the sovereignty issue of Pulau Batu Puteh did not override the Attorney-General’s decision, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 12 —The Dewan Rakyat debated a motion on the report of the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on the handling of matters related to the sovereignty of Batu Puteh, Middle Rocks, and South Ledge today, which includes a recommendation for potential criminal investigations against former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 29 — The report concerning Batu Puteh by the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) will be tabled in Parliament and the recommendations to be debated, said Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Law and Institutional Reforms) Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said.

KUALA LUMPUR, March 20 — The Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) tasked with examining the handling of the sovereignty over Pulau Batu Puteh (Pedra Branca), Middle Rocks, and South Ledge cannot punish any party involved in the case as this is not within its jurisdiction.

PUTRAJAYA, Jan 24 — The Cabinet today agreed to establish a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) to study the issues related to the sovereignty of Pulau Batu Puteh, Middle Rocks and South Ledge.

SINGAPORE, Jan 30 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged Singapore to examine the reclamations carried out in the Batu Puteh area to ensure they were not affecting the environment and the country’s borders with Malaysia.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 — The final report of the special task force to review laws relating to sovereignty over Pulau Batu Puteh, Middle Rocks and South Ledge, which contains recommendations on the government’s direction in the case, will be tabled to the Cabinet on October 7, said Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 30 — The final report of the Special Task Force reviewing laws relating to the sovereignty of Pulau Batu Puteh, Middle Rocks and South Ledge is expected to be presented to the Cabinet next month, in accordance with the decision of the Cabinet on October 29 last year.

PUTRAJAYA, Nov 14 — The Cabinet on October 29 has agreed to form a special task force to review the actions and legal issues regarding the Pulau Batu Puteh (Pedra Branca), Middle Rocks and South Ledge case.
